Welcome to the Life of Riley!

My name is Riley Rankin, and I wish to present to you how I see life. 

I am currently facing adulthood head on and I'm choosing not to look back. I simply want to express myself the best way I know how, and that is in writing. I will be posting about my current dilemmas, triumphs, life lessons learned and maybe the little things that I find beautiful. Embrace the beauty and chaos I bring, as I hope it helps you see life in a more beautiful and hopeful perspective. 

My main purpose of this is to present myself to you genuinely. I feel that Instagram hasn't been a safe place for me to share my struggles or even the simple truth about who I am. I am tired of looking like I have it all together, because I don't. This has brought me to conclude that what I am going through in these early stages of life will shape me into who I want to be in the future. And I will become stronger, beautiful, and maybe a little funnier thanks to this simple challenge of exposing my life for the world. 

As I have been writing about myself and my growth through the years, I strongly believe everything has happened for a reason and I always search for an answer as to why I have experienced everything I have. I truly believe it is purely all part of my growing plan, that is God's plan. As I face struggles and moments of defeat, I search for positivity, grace, and the lesson learned and finally, the triumph becomes evident. 

God is good all the time.
